Global Collaboration Shines in 'Pass the Baton' Story Relay: SAI Hosts Round Square Schools

The Story Relay - Pass the Baton collaborative activity culminated on the 17th of July 2024 with a book launching program. This Round Square-inspired activity, initiated last year and encouraged by Ms. Rajbir Sandhu, the SSD, South Asia, and the Gulf, supported students from 11 schools, including one from Nigeria, to imagine, collaborate, and create an amazing storybook. This year, 18 schools from countries like the UK, Australia, Brazil, Oman, UAE, and India collaborated to create yet another very creative storybook. The learning objective was achieved as students collaborated on writing chapters while maintaining theme continuity, showcasing their critical thinking, communication, and creative skills. It was impressive how 11 to 13-year-olds demonstrated deep thinking and imagination in creating the storybook. The participating Round Square schools reflected on the activity in a Zoom meeting, where Ms. Rajbir Sandhu, School Support Director for South Asia and the Gulf, highly praised the unique initiative and appreciated the host school SAI International School for completing the superb activity.
