Class VIII SAIoneers Shine at SAI Gifted Programme

On August 12, 2024, the students of Class VIII participated in the SAI Gifted Programme, a week-long workshop focused on public speaking. Led by exceptional mentors, Ms. Nayonika Singhaal and Mr. Jacob Keeley from Alma College, USA, the students were divided into groups of 5-6 members and assigned thought-provoking topics to present.

With only 7 minutes to prepare, the students showcased their creativity and skills, employing various techniques such as skits to convey their messages. The topics ranged from "Which animal would you want to be?" to more persuasive themes like "Convince the audience to leave their current jobs and become actors" and "Persuade shopkeepers not to sell ice cream to children".

Through this experience, the students demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to step out of their comfort zones. The programme undoubtedly helped build confidence and public speaking skills, setting the stage for future success. Kudos to the students, mentors, and organizers for a successful and enriching Sai Gifted Programme!
