Magic of Plant Transport: Grade VI’s Colorful STEM Experiment

Grade VI students at SAI International School conducted an engaging experiment to illustrate how STEM supports plant growth. They dipped a twig in a colored solution and observed how the color traveled through the plant, from roots to petals, demonstrating the transportation of water and minerals via xylem and phloem tissues. The sight of the colored solution moving through the plant and changing the flower's color was mesmerizing! This hands-on activity sparked curiosity and encouraged young scientists to explore the natural world.
