Team UNWIND 2026 and SAITED 2026: A New Chapter of Leadership and Possibilities Begins

SAI International Residential School witnessed an afternoon of celebration, pride and new beginnings as the formal announcement and induction of Team UNWIND 2026 and Team SAITED 2026 took place with great enthusiasm at the Astaranga Auditorium.

The occasion brought together members of the SAI International fraternity and the SIRS community to celebrate the achievements of the outgoing teams and welcome the newly inducted student leaders. The programme became a meaningful celebration of continuity, honouring the journeys and contributions of Team UNWIND 2025 and Team SAITED 2025 while marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for their successors.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by inspiring video presentations that offered a glimpse into the memorable journeys of UNWIND 2025 and SAITED 2025. The outgoing team members also shared their experiences, reflections and learnings, highlighting the dedication, creativity, teamwork and commitment that shaped their journeys.

The most anticipated moment of the occasion was the formal announcement of Team UNWIND 2026 and Team SAITED 2026 by the outgoing teams. This was followed by the proud handing over of badges by the Headmaster, marking a symbolic transition of responsibility, vision and legacy from one generation of student leaders to the next.

Following lunch, the newly inducted members of both teams participated in an engaging orientation session at the AVR. The session provided valuable insights into the students’ roles and responsibilities, the expectations from the teams and the larger purpose behind these flagship student programmes. It encouraged the newly inducted members to approach their responsibilities with passion, professionalism, creativity and a strong spirit of collaboration.

As one chapter concluded and another began, Team UNWIND 2026 and Team SAITED 2026 embarked on their new journeys with bigger dreams, fresh energy and a commitment to create meaningful experiences and lasting impact.
