Leading with Honour, Serving with Purpose: SIRS Invests Student Council and Club Bearers for 2026–27
SAI International Residential School proudly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony 2026, formally inducting the newly elected Student Council and Club Bearers for the academic session 2026–27. The ceremony reflected the school's unwavering commitment to nurturing responsible, compassionate, and visionary leaders who lead with integrity and serve with purpose. The distinguished occasion was graced by Hon'ble Justice Chittaranjan Dash, Judge, High Court of Odisha, as the Chief Guest, and Smt. Abhipsa Dash as the Guest of Honour. The programme commenced with a warm welcome through a sapling presentation, symbolising growth and sustainability, followed by a melodious welcome choir presented by the SAIoneers. Welcoming the gathering, Dr. Silpi Sahoo, Chairperson, SAI International Education Group, highlighted that true leadership is built on character, compassion, and purpose. She encouraged the newly elected leaders to inspire others through empathy, integrity, and meaningful action while remaining committed to the values that define SAI International Residential School. Guest of Honour Smt. Abhipsa Dash delivered an inspiring address on leadership, responsibility, integrity, and selfless service. Adding a unique and heartfelt dimension to the ceremony, she recited her self-composed poems, leaving the audience inspired to grow together and strive to become the best versions of themselves. Addressing the gathering, Hon'ble Justice Chittaranjan Dash encouraged the students to embrace leadership with courage, uphold ethical values, and pursue excellence in every endeavour. He urged the young leaders to become responsible citizens capable of making meaningful contributions to society through principled leadership. The defining moment of the ceremony was the formal investiture of the Student Council and Club Bearers, followed by the oath-taking ceremony led by Head Boy Shiv Agnihotri, who reaffirmed the council's commitment to serve the school community with sincerity, dedication, and honour. The inspiring addresses delivered by Head Girl Shamita Singh and the Head Boy reflected the aspirations of the newly elected council and their resolve to lead by example. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Amitabh Agnihotri, Associate Director & Headmaster, who congratulated the newly invested leaders and reminded them that the badges they wear represent not authority, but accountability, humility, and service.
