Recycled Runway: Classes IX & X Promote Sustainability Through Trashion Show
On Saturday, 27 April 2024, Classes IX & X students of Going Global & SAI Prakriti organized a Trashion Show, blending trash and fashion to promote sustainability and raise awareness through recycling old clothes. The event, attended by members of the Roadies club, featured speeches, musical performances, and a showcase of environmentally friendly Bags, Jackets, and Dhotis designed by Grade IX SAIoneers. These creations, made from reused paper, clothes, and materials, highlighted real-life environmental issues like the Kiribati plight, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. The show concluded with a Climate Quiz, adding an educational touch to the grand event.
